This form is also known as the Yang family short form and the Beijing form. It was popularized by China’s National Physical Culture & Sports Committee as China’s national fitness program. This form is widely taught and practiced throughout the world. It is an appropriate introduction to the study of Tai Chi.

Begin your Pilates training with a comprehensive (mat + reformer) eight-class Pilates Fundamentals Series. Designed for first-time Pilates students. Develop basic skills and terminology, and learn basic usages of equipment while enhancing core strength, flexibility and physical endurance. For NEW yoga students!  Become familiar with poses. Practice breathing exercises, holding postures with proper alignment and relaxation.

Recommended for those who are new to yoga or have never been in a class setting. Intro to yoga fundamentals provides students with the skills and confidence to transition easily into a Yoga class.

Participant must be able to move from standing to mat unassisted.

Introduction to Tai Chi Fundamentals is based on the YANG style. It covers the beginning movements in a step by step process. Watch, follow, show and practice together. Practice will focus on balance, body alignment and relaxed breathing.

Introduction to the essential principles of Tai Chi, including mind and body integration, fluid movements, coordinated breathing and mental concentration.
