Fostering Compassion with Sandy Salvo

We can all use a bit more compassion in our lives, including self-compassion. Research shows that we can cultivate compassion with simple, intentional practices. Join us as we explore meditation and breathing practices that foster compassion and loving kindness directed both inwardly and out into the world. No experience or equipment needed. Personal mats and meditation cushions are welcome. Chairs will be provided.

 Sandy Salvo is certified through the National Wellness Institute, OWLS (Organizational Wellness and Learning Systems), and the Institute of Integral Qigong and TaiChi, and will also be using evidence-based methods adapted for compassion training research by the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds. She teaches a variety of workshops at Harbor Wellness, as well as ongoing Qigong and Water Fitness classes.
